MNET HOLDS SEASON 2 OF NAIJA SINGS
The MNET powered Naija Sings show is back, as the Season 2 is set to kick off. The show was introduced into the Nigeria last year, where John emerged as the winner. The new season promises a unique production as the show is to be filmed in High definition production.
Once again, this year, Tosin Martins will play a very important role in the production as he will be a key judge in choosing the finalists who will go to the finals from the regional audition to be held in Lagos this month.. The other regional area that the competition will be holding includes Enugu, Port Hacourt, Calabar, Kano, Abuja and Imo.
The finalists from the regionals are going to start competing and the public begin voting for the best which will be rounded up with a grand finale in September. And once again, Olisa Adibua, the renowned radio personality will compere the show. Also, music producer, Dokta Frabz will be the musical director as he would provide music guidance and vocal training for the contestants, as they approach the all-important Top 10 stage of the series.
The winner is going to win 100,000 dollars cash prize together with a recording contract. The show is partnered by Storm 360 ltd. Also, local artists and contestants of the maiden edition of Naija Sings are billed to grace the show and mentor the singers.
