Sexy Actress, Genevieve Nnaji has been in the news in the past few months. There has been this gist making rounds town that she is pregnant for Dapo Oyebanji, popularly known as Dbanj after both of them had a music video together.
Recall that even before the video came out, there have been series of allegations that they are dating and despite the fact that she denied the dating stories, the allegation has refused to vanish.
Of course, Genevieve who is not a stranger to controversy has taken the gist in her strides. Last week, she reacted to the allegation. When City People approached her at a function , her response was that “There has been so much noise about me, who I ‘m dating and the latest is the fact that I m pregnant. I think it’s better to wait till 9 months and see whether I’m really pregnant or not. Afterall, pregnancy is not something you can hide.”
Despite all the controversy, it has not affected her looks in anyway. At the launch of Enthyst Bridal House own by Ndidi Obioha, which took place in Ikoyi, Lagos, she looked so radiant just like she has always looked in the last 6 months at major events. And whether she is pregnant or not, there was also no evidence, judging from the way she was looking at the event. She wore a slim fitted dress made with Ankara fabrics and combined with accessories to jazz up the look. It was also waist cinching too which might not have been convenient for any pregnant woman. The shortness of the dress also helped to flaunt her sexy legs too. She was looking effortlessly flawless and was the cynosure of eyes at the event.
And this won’t be the only event that Genevieve has also graced, she has been turning heads at all the A-class events that has happened on the Island in recent times from Movie Premiere to Musical Concerts and others. She has been the cynosure of all eyes on account of her style. She has also made cover of celebrity magazines like Ovation and others. She is always looking fabulous on anything she wears, as her outfit does sit perfectly on her petite frame. Somehow, she seems to have mastered what she wears and has come into her own style wise.
What makes her dressing up easy for her is that she designs all her clothes which goes contrary to the speculations going around down that her romance with fashion has crashed. It will be called that Genevieve launched her fashion label, St Genevieve barely 3 years ago, in conjunction with her partner and top designer, Olamide Ajayi of Iconola. And ever since Iconola relocated to Abuja with her beau, little or nothing had been heard about her fashion label. Though she also tried to work something out with creative and talented designer, Zizi Cardow, little or nothing has also been heard from her in that respect too. But Genevieve told City People that her fashion label is still very intact. As a matter of fact, she designed the lovely dress which she wore to the Enthyst Bridal House official opening as well as those of her friends she came in with. She said, “My fashion label is still very much on .I was even met to have a fashion show last year December but because there were so many shows since it’s a festive period, I had to postpone it. But I’m working out another fashion show, and scheduled for March this year. But don’t want to say much on that for now as I have to check my calendar for the year and make sure that I m choosing the appropriate date and time for the fashion show. But will definitely keep you posted as things unfold.”
Genevieve Nnaji is undoubtedly one of the most sought after actresses in this part of the world.
