Yeni Kuti, the eldest daughter of the Afro-beat Fela Anikulapo was 50 years of age on May 24, 2010 and she decided to throw a big party to celebrate this milestone. The party which took place at The Shrine was witnessed by family, friends and colleagues.
It was a party that was attended by the crème-de-la crème in the society. Beyond the celebration, Yeni needs a thumb up, because at 50, she looks far younger than her age. It was a big surprise to most people when they heard that this dancing queen will be marking her birthday. She is a typical example of a woman who is aging naturally and beautifully.
