The life of 2011 Miss Global Nigeria Queen, Ilechukwu Ifunaya Judith has indeed been transformed forever as she did not only represented the country well at the just concluded international version of the show but was also opportune to network and meet interesting people from all over the world.
The beauty with brains just returned from the International pageant which took place at an hospitality firm debatably one of the best in the world- the Grand Palladium Resort and Spa, Lucea, Jamaica from the 19th to 24th of September 2011, the paragon of beauty further proved that she’s indeed an exceptional breed with rare skills and talents. She outshone the rest of the 24 leggy beauty queens as she dazzled them with her velvet voice and clinch the award of the best dancer in the competition.
The fantastic show which had in attendance high profile guests like, the Nigeria Ambassador in Jamaica, His Excellency Ambassador Peter Oyedele, the India High Commissioner in Jamaica, the Ecuador High Commissioner in Jamaica, the Jamaica ex prime minister, the Hon. Minister of Tourism in Jamaica and a host of other dignitaries was put together by the Miss Global International president, Mr. Lachu Ramchandani a successful business mogul in the country.
The beautiful contestants of the 2011 Miss Global International show ranged from countries like Jamaica, Bosnia, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, Czech Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, U.S Virgin Islands, Canada, Australia, Haiti, St. Maarten, Cape Verde, Greece, Belgium, Zimbabwe, Botswana, U.S.A, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Venezuela, Guadeluope, Bahamas, Russia and Cuba, they sure had wonderful moments as they visited interesting places like the Dolphin Cove where they swam and kissed the Dolphins live, the Jamaica Zoo, the Dunns River Falls to mention but few.
They also paid courtesy visits to the ex Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Minister of Tourism, White Sandals, Rio Hotels, and were even hosted to a wonderful ship party.
The high profile show came to its final end when Miss Puerto Rico, Yansy Vega beat the rest of the 24 contestants to win the crown. Miss Jamaica, Kimberly Sherlock who played the wonderful host to other contestants was the 1st runner-up while Yasmine of Cape Verde followed closely as 2nd runner-up. Miss Australia, Rochelle Emmanuel Smith won the prize of the Miss Congeniality, Miss Czech Republic, Andrea Urbankova won the Best Smiles while Miss St. Maarten Trumane Trotman won the International Model Look and finally Miss Bahamas, Raquel won the prize of the most talented contestant in the pageant.
