WAJE UNDERGOES SURGERY
Sonorous voiced singer, Aitauaja Iruobe popularly known as Waje was on Saturday, October 1, 2011, operated upon to remove her inflamed and infected appendix. She was initially treating malaria not knowing she had a more complicated ailment.
According to what we gathered, she wasn’t feeling too well, so she had to see a doctor. After receiving treatment, she went home, only to find out she couldn’t walk properly, and was also going through so much pain. After undergoing full scan, it was discovered that she had appendicitis. That was how she booked for surgery she never planned.
Already discharged from a Lagos private hospital and she will be working from home until she fully recovers.
