Former wrestling star Hulk Hogan has revealed he blew 'hundreds of millions' on a lavish lifestyle during his glory years. The 58-year-old admitted he was now living in a rented home having slashed the price of his Florida mansion by $16m in a bid to get it off the market.
The WWE champion and actor talked candidly about his financial situation on Good Morning America just a day after it was revealed that he has slashed the price of his Florida home in a bid to sell it quickly.
'There are houses being bought, and cars being bought, and vacations for family members,' he said.
'There was eight, nine, $10 million, $11 million going out, so it got way off,' he said.
Asked about the state of his finances in the televised interview he said he was 'living in a rental house' but that he was 'living in abundance.'
'I'm happy now... I'm just so grateful,' he said.
Hogan spoke out as he promoted his new TV show featuring dwarves wrestling and called: Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling.
Just yesterday it was revealed that the 58-year-old muscle man just reduced the price of the huge home to just $8.85m - the fourth reduction in price since the home was originally listed back in 2006 at $25m.
And it seems he's not above using his celebrity status to help unload the 17,000sq ft Mediterranean-style mansion, which has five bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, and sits on the scenic Gulf of Mexico, in Clearwater.
The description on Realtor.com reads: 'Located on an exclusive tree lined street in the residential Town of Belleair, this exquisite residence is owned by television personality Hulk Hogan.'
The two story home, which was built in 1996, features a gym and spa, five-car garage and a pool with a two-tier waterfall.
The Tudor style property also boasts vaulted beamed ceilings and dark hardwood or tiled floor throughout as well as expansive living areas and lush gardens.

Makida Moka came into limelight in 2009, when she emerged the Face of Sleek, at the maiden edition of the competition. This caused a major twist in her modelling career ever since, as her profile has been on the rise. She has paraded most of the runway both locally and international. She is one of the top models to reckon with in the country.
Makida will be handing over her crown to the new queen in the next couple of weeks as her tenure is gradually coming to an end. BOLA AKINBOADE met with her recently and she opened up on how being the Face of Sleek has changed her life.
Bola Akinboade(B.A): How has it been since you won the face of Sleek in 2009?
Makida Moka(Makida): It's been amazing. It's been really fantastic. I have met people that if not for these competition, I won't have met them. And that has really shaped my life in a different way. It's been really good because I have been to a lot of places and greater opportunities are opening up for me.
B.A: What will you say Face of Sleek has changed about you? How has it affected your life?
Makida: I wear more makeup now. I think I dress better now as well. And I have been able to manage my time more. Because prior to this, I'm always the last person in the house to finish up. On Sunday mornings, you hear me screaming wait for me! But now, I can manage my time more because when you have to be at 2 or 3 places on the same day, you have to wake early, get out and manage your time properly to be able to touch all those places. So it's really helped in a lot of ways. Now I dress better, wear more makeup, my hair is good and I manage my time more.
B.A: So what was life like for you before the Face of Sleek?
Makida: It was a bit boring. Like I just finished secondary school and waiting to get into the University. So I just thought, while waiting for my admission, let me do different things, that at the end, would know that have actually gotten some experiences and seen the world in a different light before embarking on my university experience.
That has happened and it's been really good.
B.A: So why and how did you get into the competition?
Makida: I was listening to radio one day and the advert came on. And it sounded like something really good and since I wasn't doing anything at that time; I decided to enter into the competition. My cousin, who also heard the advert on the radio, actually pushed me to do it and gave me money to buy the form. So I got into the competition and we are here today.
B.A: As at the time you entered the competition, you were young. What was your parents reaction? Were they not afraid the competition might change you?
They were all supportive; especially my mum, grand mum. My grand mum used to call me Sleeky. Apart from one of my uncle, who wondered if that was what I should be doing? He was of the opinion that I'm supposed to be in school and not doing anything outside of school. Apart from him, everybody really supported and had my back. And it's really good when you have people around you supporting you, because whatever happens, whether it goes wrong or right, they will still be behind you.
B.A: You’ve been the Face of Sleek for two years, how far did you go?
Makida: I actually didn't think it was going to be this big. Even after I won, I wasn't so sure what was happening, until I saw newspaper articles and people asking for interviews. And I was like okay; this is not a small thing anymore. It's been amazing.
I did a show at London Fashion Week; I've also done lots of shows here in Nigeria, photo shoots and also been to lots of events. People take my picture and they don't ask for my name anymore because I have become like a household name. So it's been really good. I can say I'm quite recognized now. And its not because I'm trying to be big, I'm just happy that has happened for me. And I'm really grateful to God, because it hasn't been a bad experience.
B.A: You will soon be handing over your crown in the next couple of weeks to the new queen. What next for you after the Face of Sleek?
Makida: I have taken a two years gap here and I will soon be going into the university now. This is how I actually wanted it to be; have a break and then go into the university and become focused. So yes, I' m going into the university at the end of October, which is before the finale. But I will come for the finale.
B.A:Which of the University?
Makida: It's the North America University at Republic of Benin. And I'm going to study Mass Communication because; I want to be a TV presenter.
The accusation of intellectual fraud against multiple award winning duo of twin brother, Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as PSquare, by cross-over artist, Steph Nora Okere has been resolved and closed.
It would be recalled that Steph Nora claimed in August 2011 that the duo of Peter and Paul Okoye lifted materials from her debut single with the help of their brother, Jude Okoye who also doubled as their manager.
The controversial song, track 7 in the invasion album, also has the same title with Steph Nora’s Jeje single.
Steph Nora, had on many occasions threatened to file a copyright infringement suit against PSquare, saying, “PSquare is a big name that should not take advantage of up and coming artists”

This year's edition of the Sleek competition, is the first of it's kind in Nigeria. It is a celebration of the total woman….the true Nigerian woman…truly strong….truly feminine. It is one competition that will produce three winners…no 2nd place! Winners will emerge for Face of Sleek, S. Studio Woman & Style Star.
The Face of Sleek category aims to applaud authentic Nigerian beauty, good mannered, well spoken, eloquence and poise. She will be the Sleek Ambassador. Her prizes include a brand new car and a sponsored trip to the UK for the London Fashion Week. She will be styled for the year with Sleek and S.Studio products. She will get the exposure of a life time.
The S. Studio Woman category aims at applauding the working woman. It is open to any woman who works in the corporate world or runs her own business. It is the ultimate tribute to the woman’s all important roles at work and at home. They will single one out (with the most remarkable story for balancing work and home) and she will represent all the remarkable women out there. Her prizes include an exotic holiday for two to Seychelles as well as Sleek, Style Star and S. Studio products for one year.
And Style Star will identify a young academic. By this, Sleek is looking for a student whose academic style shines like a star- someone who excels in the Sciences or in the Arts. She will represent all those out there who burn the midnight lamp to ace their exams. We are honouring those who know that passing exams is still about what you have in your brains. Whilst we honour all, one will be selected (with the most outstanding academic record based on mental capabilities). Sleek will give her a full scholarship in any Nigerian University, an internship in the top organization for her chosen field and style her for one year with Sleek, Style Star and S.studio products.
BOLA AKINBOADE met with one of the Sleek Sisters, Ify Ugochukwu recently, and she opened up on why this year competition is taking a different twist.
Bola Akinboade(B.A): This year's event is 3-in-1, what led to that idea. Why did you decide to do things differently?
Ify Ugochukwu(Ify): Yes it is 3-in-1 and what led to it is the fact that sleek products...Sleek Makeup, Sleek hair, S.studio skin care and Style star hair is being used by women of different ages, different walks of life, size and colour and these three categories is our way of appreciating the total woman, which is what Sleek represents.
B.A: Won't your attention be divided amongst the winner?
Ify: All three winners would be given equal attention because they are all winners; none is higher than the other. That is why it is 1 competition, 3 winners.
B.A:What are the qualities you look out for in each winner?
B.A:What does the winners stand to gain?
Ify: In no particular order, The Style-Star winner gets Full Scholarship at any Nigerian University and Internship too; The Face of Sleek Winner, gets a brand new car and a trip to London for the London Fashion Week and finally, the S.Studio Woman wins a holiday to Paris
B.A: It's been two years since Makida Moka was crowned as the Face of Sleek. Why did you decide to wait that long before staging another one?
Ify: Face of Sleek is not just a Beauty Pageant, it's more like a Project and so we don't think it ideal to hold it every year.
B.A: No doubt, this year's event is going to be bigger and better than the previous ones, what are the other side attractions?
Ify: We will be the launching our Skin Care line(S.STUDIO), a few designers will bee showing casing their stuff, musical performances and much more; we don't want to let the cat out of the bag now, but no doubt, this year's event is going to be incredibly thrilling and exciting.
B.A: With all these brilliant ideas, how do you want to Bankroll it because the project is a huge one?
Ify: Every serious company has to have an advertising and marketing budget and that's how you bankroll events such as this
B.A:What would you say have been the greatest achievement so far for Sleek Nigeria?
Ify: Being the most loved and most used beauty brand in Nigeria and for that we are truly grateful to our customers, our franchises and distributors and of course our Father in Heaven, who keeps us alive and makes it all possible.

Her movie career may be all but over, but Lindsay Lohan has at least found a fashionable way to earn a paycheck. The troubled actress, whose name has become synonymous with court appearances, jail stints and rehab stays, is the new face of German fashion designer Philipp Plein.
Earlier today, Plein held a news conference in Italy, introducing LiLo as the face of his new clothing collection during Milan Fashion Week. With her bleached blonde hair in an updo, Lindsay swept into the event looking glamorous in a studded black mini dress with Plein by her side.
The designer, who is clearly pleased to have LiLo on his team has said: 'Lindsay is a beautiful, highly acclaimed actress and model. We will be able to create unique images: Refined and luxurious, but also full of sensuality.'
Plein apparently has a penchant for fallen starlets, as former The OC star, Mischa Barton, was the face of his brand in 2010.
Supermodel Molly Sims has tied the knot with Hollywood film producer Scott Stuber. The couple said 'I do' in the California wine region of Napa Valley yesterday in front of celebrity friends and family in an intimate ceremony. Wedding guests included Josh Duhamel and his wife, Black Eyed Peas singer, Fergie.
The party enjoyed a lavish reception which was topped off with a red velvet cake.
Former Sports Illustrated model Sims, 38, wore a dress by Marchesa and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz. Meanwhile her 42-year-old groom wore Tom Ford.
Stuber, who produced hit movie Love And Other Drugs, The Break Up and Role Models, had presented Sims with a huge Diana von Furstenberg sparkler that he helped design.
They got engaged on May 20 and have married just four months later.
The Las Vegas star opened up earlier this year about the moment he proposed explaining that Stuber had flown in her parents on a private jet to share in the celebration.
After he had popped the questions upstairs in their home she went downstairs to find 'my parents were sitting in the kitchen'.
The model turned jewellery designer said she knew Stuber was The One, 'the moment when I started to worry about him and I didn't want anything to happen'.
It will be second time lucky for Stuber, whose first marriage to Star Trek actress Rachel Nichols lasted just seven months, before the pair separated in 2009. It will be the first marriage for Sims.
The blonde beauty shot to fame as an actress on the hit NBC show Las Vegas in which she starred in over 100 episodes.
She is currently starring in made-for-TV movie Shredd, and has been busy launching her jewellery line Grayce by Molly Sims.
The multi-talented star will also be hosting a Project Runway spin-off show called Project Accessories which will find the nation's next big jewellery designer.
She has several films due out next year, including Battleship, which co-stars Rihanna.

The contesting families had one more set of hip-hop genre performances before their scores were tallied and ranked. The performances were described as brilliant and captivating.
But it was the surprise performances from the judges – Michael Adegoke, Janell Burgess and Muyiwa Oshinaike that got everybody screaming as all three stepped on the dance floor to show and prove!
First runners up position went to the Dare family while the Utogo family came third.

The ex-beauty queen and hubby have a lovely two year old daughter named Demi
While the 1980s have been inspiring some of today's fashion trends, many of us who remember that era had hoped that some colours would have never resurface. But Tyra Banks is clearly not one of them and seems to be desperate to bring dayglow back as her latest outfit has shown.
The model was snapped in an unflattering jumpsuit as she made her way to the Victoria's Secret offices in New York yesterday.
But it wasn't just the cut of the outfit that did nothing for her but the bright and bold colours which clashed together as she walked to work. The purple all-in-one had a florescent lime green belt and shoulder strap and she teamed the look with dark tan heels and a silver bag. Dayglow colours have been popular with the model over the summer and in recent weeks.
