EX -BEAUTY QUEEN MATILDA KERRY HOLDS FUND RAISING EVENT FOR CANCER AWARENESS

In the next couple of weeks, ex beauty queen, Matilda Kerry will be hosting
her annual ‘Christmas Bake Sale’, to raise funds for Cervical Cancer Awareness.

The George Kerry Life Foundation has run a Cervical Cancer control campaign
since 2009. The campaign has educated over 100,000 women, screened over 5,000
women and treated over 500 women for early precancer cervical lesions.

The annual fundraising takes place every December to raise money to keep
this campaign running. The fundraising involves a unique Bake sale/cake auction
to raise money.

 The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, the 16th of December, 2012 at
the Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It will again feature special Christmas cakes prepared and donated by the
biggest and best bakeries in Nigeria
such as the likes of Cakes by Tosan, Odus martiello, Oh la la, Licious
Desserts, Cakes and Cream, Cactus, Tiffany pearl, Delibakes  Cakes,
Hyacinth & Rosevelt, Tiers of Delight, Cake treat and many more!
Gourmet Dinner will be served with entertainment from
veterans in the music and comedy industry.
The 1st Lady of Lagos State, Her Excellency Abimbola
Emmanuella Fashola  to grace the occasion
