Blackberry never fails to surprise us. It always makes its mark as a bold cellular phone. Each piece that Research in Motion or RIM produces is sure to make headlines, whether good or bad. The Blackberry P’9981 is not yet released globally but it made its sneak peak at the United Kingdom recently.
Looking at the P9981, the QWERTY keypad is in metal clad. Quite strange it may seem but this design is in accordance to the Porsche design that has set up a partnership with RIM. This phone is initially called Blackberry Knight. The looks of the phone are quite striking indeed but fans of Blackberry are not that sure if they should welcome this look or not.
The Blackberry Porsche Design P’9981 closely resembles its brother, the Bold Touch 9900. This phone is no longer new because it was earlier launched in Dubai last October 2011 and was expected to sell at a retail price of US$2000. Now that it is made available in the United Kingdom, you can purchase this luxurious Blackberry phone at Harrods Department Store at Knightsbridge in London at UK Pounds 1275. The demand is very high and the phone is being bought fast by Blackberry aficionados because this is not going to be available for a long time. It does not come with any contract so buyers have to bring their own SIMs in order to test the unit if it is working or not.
Some of the specs of this Porsche design Blackberry include a 1.2GHz single core processor. It has 1GHz RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The camera at the back of the phone is made up of 5MP while video recording shall give you 720p HD. We should not forget the operating system of this smart phone which works on Blackberry OS 7. The GSM frequencies available includes 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz while the UMTS consists of 900 and 2100 MHz. For connectivity, the Blackberry P’9981 has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
In addition to the features of this sleek Blackberry smart phone, it also contains a forged stainless steel frame with hand wrapped leather back cover. The display is also made up of crystal clear touch display. In terms of the phone’s browser, it utilizes Wikitude World Browser with an augmented reality app experience. In addition to these world class features, the Blackberry P’9981 also has premium, exclusive PINs which will easily help identify another P’9981 smart phone user within the area.
In essence, the Blackberry P’9981 is simply a Blackberry 9900 which is in a Porsche Design outfit. It caters to the high-end class of society worldwide.
Buying a cell phone amounting to US$2000, UK Pound 1275 or N325,000 is not a joke. It is similar to buying a high-end car for you. There is actually nothing new to this phone except that it is in a Porsche Design outfit and nothing more. If you can spend that amount then there is nothing wrong with that but if you find the unit cost quite expensive and not worth the price then you might want to think twice about buying it.
KIM KARDASHIAN BREAKS DOWN IN TEARS ON SEASON FINALE OF REALITY SHOW, AS SHE ADMITS SHE REGRET HER FAILED 72-DAY MARRIAGE
Kim Kardashian might want to prepare herself for further backlash after the season finale of her E! show airs.
In a sneak peek from Sunday's episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York , the 31-year-old reality star reveals that, in less than 72 days, her feelings for ex-husband Kris Humphries changed.
She just 'fell out of love.'
The clip sees the brunette beauty have a breakdown on the finale of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, sobbing uncontrollably to older sister Kourtney.
'It's hard for me. He's a good heart, he's a Christian - everything on paper I want in someone, but for some reason, my heart isn't connecting,' she tells her sister, before asking for family support.
She sobs: 'I feel awful that I made him move out here and change his whole life. I feel sad, I feel bad for the guy.'
After reflecting on her highly publicized, very expensive August 20 wedding, the diminutive star clearly can't cope with the depth of her feelings.
'He fell in love with me and I fell in love with him and now all my feelings have changed,' she cries.
'I invited all these people to this huge wedding and flew everyone out, wasted everyone's time and everyone's money - everyone's everything - and I feel bad!' she sobs.
'At 30 years old, I thought I'd be married with kids and I'm not. I failed at this,' she says. 'People change their minds, people make mistakes.'
On last week's episode of the E! show, Kim had her second revelation that she needed to end her marriage after meeting with medium John Edwards.
She then sobbed to 32-year-old Kourtney: ‘I don’t want to be married anymore.’
Startling facts have emerged concerning how the age-long feud between actress Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde played out during the production of Chineze Anyaene’s multiple award winning movie, “Ïje: The Journey.”
The silent rivalry, nearly ruined the production of the big budget movie.
The movie which ruled the Nigerian box office, grossing over N47 million from six cinemas across the country two years ago starred the two A-list actresses amongst other Nollywood stars.
Sources close to the producer revealed that, while the movie was being shot in Los-Angeles, it was a running battle to get the two heavy-weight actresses to work as a team.
In fact, according to our sources, except for the ceaseless intervention of the cast and crew of the production, none of the two actresses was ready to play a second fiddle to each other.
In the movie however, Genevieve played the role of Chioma, the lead character, while Omotola played that of Anya, her sister.
Indeed, before starring in the movie, Omotola and Geneveive were known to be engaged in a cold war, resulting from the so called “insults” traded through the media and an alleged battle to be Nigeria’s Number one sex symbol.
Our sources went further to reveal that Zeb Ejiro who was the consulting producer played a major role, he stepped in as the mediator between Geneive and Omotola
Controversial movie producer and director, Dickson Iroegbu who is known for his “astuteness” is set to cause ripples again in the society as he concludes plans to release his latest movie, “ Law 58” into the market.
“Law 58” is an expository, yet shocking movie on gay practice and its consequences on the traditional African society.
The producer claimed that the movie, which stars the likes of Kanayo. 0.Kanayo, who played the lead character, Clarion Chukwurah, Halima Abubakar, Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adjorlolo, Mark Morris Chibueze amongst other Nollywood stars took him over four years to produce.
According to what we gathered, Mike Ezuruonye and Desmond Elliot refused to be part of the eyesore movie when Dickson approached them to star in it.
The movie will be released on DVD as from next month. For him, the movie will relaunch him into the mainstream movie making.

Meantime, none of her other albums has surpassed the two million mark. Her sixth and latest studio effort, ‘Talk that Talk’ was released on November 21, 2011. Despite her seemingly slow CD sales, there is no disputing the pop star is a big hit with the iTunes generation.

The Islamic sect, Boko Haram, has threatened to adopt a change of tactics in a message posted on YouTube yesterday. The sect also restated that it was behind last week’s attacks in Kano saying bombings and shootings were to avenge the torture of its members.
“We were responsible,” a voice identified as that of suspected Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau says in audio played over a picture of him. “I ordered it and I will give that order again and again. God gave us victory.”
A spokesman for the group had earlier claimed responsibility for
coordinated bombings and shootings on January 20 in Kano which left at least 185 people dead. Police stations were the main targets.
Shekau said in the message that “we attacked the security formations because our members were arrested and tortured. Our women and children have also been arrested.” He then issued another threat: “They should know that they also have wives and children. We can also abduct them. It is not beyond our powers.
“Soldiers raided an Islamic seminary in Maiduguri and desecrated the Quran.
They should bear in mind that they also have primary and secondary schools and universities, and we can also attack them.”
The Boko Haram leader also accused the authorities of killing civilians in Friday’s violence.
“After we finished our war, policemen stuck around and started killing civilians and later blamed us,” he said. “We are not fighting civilians, but security forces. We only kill soldiers, policemen and their collaborators.”
The Kano attacks were the worst yet attributed to Boko Haram and occurred in a city that serves as the economic heart of the North. Another police station was attacked in Kano on Tuesday night, while an explosion also went off in the city on yesterday. A German engineer was also kidnapped on the outskirts of Kano yesterday. A video posted on YouTube earlier this month was also said to be of Shekau.
In the video, the man said to be Shekau issued a message to President Goodluck Jonathan and threatened further violence.
The appearance of the man in the video appeared significantly different than earlier images said to be of the Boko Haram chief, but a Western diplomat said “we assessed it was Shekau.”

A seven- man panel of the Supreme Court in a unanimous decision this morning sacked Governors Liyel Imoke, Murtala Nyako, Ibrahim Idris, Wamako and Temipre Silva of Cross River, Adamawa, Kogi, Sokoto and Bayelsa states from office.
The court in Abuja held that the tenures of the governors started to count from the time they took their oath of office after emerging winners in their respective state governorship elections in 2007 and not from the period they took their second oaths of office after emerging winners of the re-run elections when there initial elections were nullified.
A Federal High Court had earlier held that their tenures of office started to run from their later oaths of office and oath of allegiance which they took upon their emergence as winners of their respective re run elections.
The apex court held that the trial court as well as the Court of Appeal erred in law when the considered the actions taken by the respective governors before their elections were nullified by the various Election Petition Tribunals as valid on one hand while discounting the time they spent doing those valid actions from their constitutionally prescribed tenure of office.
180. (1) subject to the provisions of this Constitution, a person shall hold the office of Governor of a State until -
(a) When his successor in office takes the oath of that office; or
(b) he dies whilst holding such office; or
(c) the date when his resignation from office takes effect; or
(d) he otherwise ceases to hold office in accordance with the provisions of this constitution.
In reaching their decision, the Supreme Court relied on section 180 (2) of the Constitution wherein the tenure of office of Governors were prescribed and held that that section did not envisage any form of elongation of occupants of the office of the Governor of the state as well as that of the President.
The section reads:
180 (2) Subject to the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, the Governor shall vacate his office at the expiration of period of four years commencing from the date when -
(a) in the case of a person first elected as Governor under this Constitution, he took the Oath of Allegiance and oath of office; and
(b) the person last elected to that office took the Oath of Allegiance and oath of office or would, but for his death, have taken such oaths.
The court held that the provisions of that section of the Constitution will stand violated if the tenure of office of the Governors is calculated from their second taking of Oath of Office and the Oath of Allegiance and stated that their tenure started counting from their first Oath of office which they all took after they were declared winners of the April 2007 elections and that they are entitled to four year terms from that date.
The court also rapped the Peoples Democratic party for attempting to abort the hearing of the matter at the court through their preliminary objections filed against all the consolidated appeals. The party had argued that the subject matter of the appeals have become academic and should be dismissed.
While dismissing the PDP’s preliminary objections, the apex court maintained that the matter is of grave constitutional importance whose subject matter is still alive and cannot be truncated on the grounds of mere technicalities.
In countering the decisions of the Federal High Court and that of the Court of Appeal, the apex court asserted that the provision of the law did not envisage an indefinite occupation of office by a Governor and did not also envisage re run elections, left alone one to be won by the same person.
It went on to hold that since actions of these governors, like contracts awarded by them, Commissioners and Special Assistants appointed by them as well as Budgets and Bills signed into law by them remained valid and subsisting when their election were annulled, that it followed that upon emerging winners of their respective re run elections, and having to take another Oaths of Office and Allegiance which is a standard procedure before they can function as Governors, that their tenure begins to count from that first oaths they took in 2007 and not the second ones they took in 2008 after their victories in the re-run election
The Duchess of Cambridge has turned heads in several of her designs.
The most memorable being a £3,800 shimmering gown worn to the ARK charity gala last year. But for many, Jenny Packham's pricey eponymous label - which starts at £85 for a Swarovski embellished thong - has remained a little off budget.
However the designer, whose flagship store is situated in London's Mayfair, is set to launch a cut-price collection.
Having established a star-studded following, the 46-year-old has created an affordable high street line in collaboration with Debenhams.
It is expected that the range will feature bright colours, light fabrics, whimsical detailing and feminine cuts.
Packham will join the likes of Julien Macdonald, Roksanda Ilincic, Jonathan Saunders and Matthew Williamson who have also created capsule collections for the UK retailer.
With the luxury brand boasting an elite fan base, Jenny Packham's purse-friendly pieces are sure to be a hit with price-conscious shoppers.
Stars such as Rihanna, Keira Knightley, Beyonce and Cameron Diaz have been spotted in gowns from Jenny Packham and last year the Duchess of Cambridge opted the designer on three separate occasions.
A Jenny Packham jewellery range will also debut at Debenhams.
Jenny Packham launched her first collection at the London Designer Show in 1988; the label now has stores in London and Paris, and is stocked globally.
The Victoria's Secret Angels are known for being some of the best looking women in the world. And three of them showed just how hard working they are when they flaunted their fantastic figures for a photo shoot on the beach in St Barts.
Adriana Lima and Gracie Cavalho took their turn in front of the camera first, splashing in the waves as they modelled tiny two pieces for the brand.
30-year-old Lima donned a series of skimpy bikinis including a floral number as she lay seductively in the surf and smouldered for the camera.
Meanwhile Carvalho, 21, was sporting a fluorescent pink string bikini as she showed of her trim frame while wading through the water.
The models, who are both Brazilian, showed that they were worthy of their Victoria's Secret Angel wings as they expertly worked the camera to show off their bodies in all their glory.
They were joined by a third Angel, Namibian born Behati Prinsloo.
The 22-year-old stayed on dry land for her portion of the photo shoot, posing under a palm tree.
She wore a tiny peach coloured string bikini with silver detailing, and held a straw hat in one hand as she struck various stances for the camera.
Lima signed on as a face of the lingerie brand in 2000, while Carvalho and Prinsloo are a more recent addition to the beautiful representatives of the label.
And the trio appeared to have worked hard to achieve their enviable figures for the location shoot.

Ask yourself these questions: Why do people buy from you? What do you really do for your customers? How are you better than your competition? What special skills or advantages do you have?
The answers to these questions are your competitive advantages. They are what make you stand out from your competition. They may be related to price, location, professional skills, attitude, responsiveness or your own personality.
People buy from you because you do something for them no one else does. Understand this and you've taken the first step to better marketing.
IDENTIFY YOUR CUSTOMERS (YOUR TARGET MARKET)
To promote your business you should focus on people who value what you do. Your strengths (or competitive advantages) will help you focus on who will most value your service or product.
For example, if your location is strength then your customers will reflect your location. If high quality is strength then your customers should appreciate quality.
To get an idea of who your target market is, look at your current customers. Or, look at your profit margins to decide which type of customers to focus on. You might have several target markets because you have several products or services and a variety of strengths.
Bottom line: focus on people who will place a high value on what you can do for them. These people will be your most loyal and profitable customers.
CREATE A MEANINGFUL MESSAGE
The key in successful marketing is to deliver the right message to the right people as often as your budget will allow. So, you need a message that tells your target market why they should do business with you.
Your message should reflect your strengths because those are what you do best. And, your message should be in terms that your target market is interested in.
In other words speak in their language and say what they want to hear.
Your message comes directly from your strengths and your target market. The three work together naturally and simply.
You can have more than one message. Each marketing focus (based on a product or service, a target market and a strength) should have its own message.
To start, just work on one message. Then as you develop a system that works, add others to your marketing system. Don't overwhelm yourself right away by trying to do too much.
DELIVER YOUR MESSAGE AS OFTEN AS YOUR BUDGET ALLOWS
Now you have to find and purchase the appropriate delivery vehicles (or media) for your marketing messages.
There are three things to remember as you plan how to deliver your message: Set a budget for the project; Get the most exposure possible for that budget; Focus your exposure on your target group.
Unless your budget is unlimited, you need to choose delivery vehicles that focus your message.
For example, if you have a retail store and you know 90% of your customers live within two miles of your store, then you might focus your message delivery on people who live within two miles of your store. This gives you the ability to repeat your message to them multiple times, putting the power of repetition to work for you.
There are many ways to deliver your message: advertising, direct mail, networking, phone calls or personal visits. Some less direct ways might be to teach classes or offer seminars on topics that relate to your product or service. Other ways might be to sponsor events or offer informational sessions about what you do. Or, you might partner with a nonprofit.
Whatever you do, try to achieve a balanced mix of media when delivering your message. This increases awareness of your business and multiplies the impact of your message.
Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph is rated among the very professional actresses that Nollywood has ever produced. This is because she is always thorough in her role interpretation and gives everything it demands to do a nice job.
No doubt, she has been tagged the most controversial actress in Nollywood due to the numerous negative stories she is always associated with.
The latest gist about this curvy actress is that she has turned a new leaf and set to work for God. The talented actress is set to release a yet to be titled Gospel album.
According to what bebeakinboade.blogspot.com gathered, God gave her the songs during the subsidy strike. She also claimed that God also spoke to her through two men of God. And she is not bothered about what people will say considering her past. She is ready to obey God by releasing the songs He put in her heart.
Anita will be dropping two Christian songs very soon. Indeed, God works in mysterious ways!!!

If you remember nothing else in this article, remember this: even during the great depression, people still bought things. And not just food and necessities -- lipstick and entertainment were hot sellers. (In fact, that's where the cosmetic industry got its start.)
Why am I starting here? Because I know it's easy to get caught up in a cycle of negativity right now but if you want to succeed you absolutely MUST rise above it. People are still going to buy no matter what the economy is doing. It's YOUR job to position your products and services as the ones they buy.
So how do you do that? Here are three tips to get you started.
INCREASE YOUR MARKETING
Dance with the one who brought you. In other words, now is not the time to abandon the marketing strategies and tactics that got you here. A lot of business owners will be tempted to cut back, especially their marketing. This is a mistake. If anything, you should increase your marketing now.
However, by increasing your marketing I don't necessarily mean increasing how much you spend. It's perfectly acceptable to find low-cost or no-cost marketing methods to still keep the momentum going. One word of warning -- there's no such thing as a free lunch. Chances are you're going to pay somewhere, and that payment could very well be your time. Before you rush into doing something you end up regretting, take a hard look at the real cost. Would you be better off doing something that might cost more but doesn't suck up time you could be using to make money?
Here are some tactics you can do right now to increase your exposure without necessarily costing you much (if anything):
a. Start an email newsletter, or if you already publish one, increase the frequency you send it out. (Weekly is best. The more often your list hears from you, the more responsive they'll become.)
b. Hold a free teleclass. Make sure you come up with a really great special offer to turn your listeners into customers.
c. Go buy a new dress and hang out on the social networking scene. Okay, I'm kidding about the dress. But if you aren't making the social marketing rounds, you're missing major business opportunities. No it's not a waste of time (unless you let it become one).
DO A LITTLE MARKETING EACH DAY
I know. Marketing isn't your "thing." Why would you want to do something each day? But the reality is successful businesses are built upon small marketing steps consistently done, not necessarily the big launch.
So what can you do today? Write your article for your newsletter? Contact a potential joint venture partner? Write a thank you note to someone who sent you a referral? Do something, even if it's only a 15-minute task, and you'll probably be amazed at how fast you'll start seeing results.
SYSTEMATIZE YOUR MARKETING TASKS
If you're like a lot of service professionals, when business is slow, you jump in feet first and do a whole bunch of marketing. Things pick up, you get busy, and the marketing stops. Eventually the work also stops because you stopped the marketing and you're sucked into the feast-famine vortex.
So, rather then repeat that cycle, why not do something a little different this time around? This time, while you're frantically marketing and looking under every stone for work, why don't you also systemize your marketing? Write down everything you do, so when you're busy, you can hand that list off to a virtual assistant who can keep your marketing going for you? Now maybe you won't eliminate that feast-or-famine cycle but you'll definitely soften it.
To sum it up, if business is slow right now and you're nervous about the economy, I want you to take a deep breath and STOP IT. Use this time to transform how you handle your marketing in your business, which will transform your business.
She's the world's richest model, but Gisele Bündchen's wealth is set to grow as her lingerie label goes global.
Launched last May, the Gisele Bündchen Brazilian Intimates range has proved popular in Latin America, Portugal, Japan, and Israel and now further expansion is expected.
The former Victoria's Secret Angel premiered her collection, for Brazilian company Hope, in São Paulo last May.
Stepping onto the catwalk the 31-year-old, mother-of-one showcased various designs featuring blush pink and black satin, tassels and lace.
After the 40-piece collection hit stores across Brazil the fashion retailer Hope reported a 40 per cent increase in turnover.
Now, the range is expected to be a hit with shoppers worldwide.
And with her products endorsements and business ventures earning a total of £29 million last year, Bündchen is now believed to be on track to becoming the world's first billionaire supermodel.
You probably already know that Vera Wang is a famous fashion designer, best known for her dazzling (and often outrageously expensive) bridal gowns. But you probably have no idea how old she is ... and if you had to figure it out by looking at her, your guess would probably begin with the number four.
Turns out the fashion mogul is actually 62 years old, but you'd never believe it from the recent photo shoot she did with Harper’s Bazaar where Wang shows off her sleek and swanky new Beverly Hills home as well as her slim figure in a strapless swimsuit.

Whitney Houston is reportedly 'broke'. The 48-year-old singer - who has overcome crack cocaine addiction - has allegedly spent all of her fortune, including a reported $100million record deal.
Whitney is being financially supported by her record label Arista, which has given her an advance payment on her next album, according to reports.
In August 2001, Whitney signed the biggest record deal in music history at the time with Arista/BMG, renewing her contract with the label for $100million to deliver six new albums. She released her last LP I Look to You in August 2009.
As Sex and the City's Miranda, she was one of TV's most recognizable red heads. But Cynthia Nixon unveiled a stark new look on “Live With Kelly” this morning. The actress, 45, surprised viewers with a bald head after shaving her locks off for her role in the Manhattan Theatre Club production of Wit. She plays cancer stricken poetry professor Vivian Bearing in the play, which opens on January 26 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
She follows the footsteps of Who’s the Boss actress Judith Light, who also shaved her hair for the same role a decade ago.
Of course, it is a role close to Nixon's heart - she herself discovered she had the early stages of breast cancer during a routine mammogram in 2006.
She had a lumpectomy and radiation - but no chemotherapy - and continues to take the drug Tamoxifen, which blocks the actions of estrogen and is used to treat and prevent some types of breast cancer.
Let us discuss another key to financial freedom; treat money well. Money is like a lover which when courted and treated well, flows towards us in increasing quantities. But when it is not treated well, it has a way of avoiding us.
To him that has will more be given, to him that has not; even what he has will be taken away from him. In other words, money flows from those who don’t manage it well to those who manage it well. We increase our wealth by lowering our expenses while increasing our income.
Dear friend, your first step towards financial freedom is to spend less than you earn. If you don’t develop this habit, even if your income increases, you may not grow richer, because you will spend everything.
Save some of your income. With the help of financial advisors, invest in insurance, shares, properties and other area of business.
When you begin to treat money this way, it will begin to flow towards you. It will flow so fast and you will wonder where it has been all this while.
