THE STORY OF A RISING STAR, TOSIN SIDO

Tosin Sido is a Nigerian actress who is well known for her exotic looks, sensual lips, talent and fair skin. She started as a photography model in the entertainment world and has developed her talent through hard-work and determination to become one of the highly respected professionals in her field.

Tosin Sido attended Mayflower Junior School, Ogun State, continued her secondary education in Festac Grammar School, Government Secondary School, and Atlas  School, Dopemu, Lagos State. Q: What prompted you into singing?
A: I love music and I wanted to do my own thing, to contribute my own music.

Q:You got monstrous negative response to both singles. How did feel with all the attacks?
A: I listened to my songs over and over again and I told myself I did well. In all, I see only the positivity in it, I made History. People’s opinion of how my music was has further strengthened my belief that dreams die when you let the next man’s opinion get to you and I am using now to pass a message to everyone out there, if you can just do it. Don’t let anyone’s opinion kill whatever dream you have or try to stop you from taking the next step.

Q:You tweeted that you were not giving up. Does that mean you will become actively involved in music?
A:I love my acting career and I don’t see myself jumping into full time music. I am however shooting the musical video of my songs, I will not let the hating stop me.

1- A native of Ikwere, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Dikeh was born on June 9, 1985 and is a Petro-Chemical Engineering graduate of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Rivers-State.

2- Having lost her mother when she was just three years old she was raised by her step-mother and has seven siblings.

3- Dikeh began smoking at age of 13 and in May announced that she had quit smoking on Twitter claiming that the prayer of Pastor T.B Joshua through his Christian TV station, Emmanuel TV, healed her.

4- Her breakthrough role came in 2006 when she starred in the movie, Holy Cross. Although her second movie, it ensured that she became the sought-after actress at that time.

JIM IYKE OPENS UP ON ALLEGED 11-YEAR-OLD SECRET SON

Few days ago, the internet was abuzz with news involving Nollywood 'bad boy' actor, Jim Iyke and a UK-based lover named Chantelle Nkechi Benson. It was reported that some years ago, Jim Iyke and Chantelle reportedly had a romantic affair while the latter was an Abia State University undergraduate. Now, the lady is presently a barrister in the UK.
The report claimed that Chantelle has an 11 years old child for the actor which he (Jim) was never aware of until recently.
However, Jim was reported to have only spoken with child, who is a boy named Mario, on the phone but is yet to meet him.

Reacting to the story, Jim Iyke, through his publicist, Mitch Ngaman, said the talented actor is still trying to get to the root of the matter just because of the innocent boy involved.
This was made known through a statement made available to Nigeriafilms.com on the matter. The unedited statement reads;

BRAZILIAN MAN APPEARS ALIVE AT HIS OWN FUNERAL

A 41-year-old car washer shocked his family when he interrupted a funeral being held for him at his mother's home in the town of Alagoinhas in northeastern Brazil.
Police inspector Roberto Lima said by telephone that on Sunday Jose Marcos Araujo identified a body at the city morgue as being that of his brother, Gilberto.
Lima said that Jose Marcos took the body to his mother's home where a wake was held.
"The confusion started when news started circulating that a car washer had been shot dead," Jose Marcos' wife, Ana Paula, told the UOL Internet news portal. "Police called my husband and told him that his brother had been killed and his body was at the morgue."
Lima said the confusion was "understandable."

ENUGU STATE GOVERNOR, SULLIVAN CHIME CRITICALLY SICK

Feelers from the Enugu State Government House on Friday indicated that all might not be well with Governor Sullivan Chime’s health. Chime’s last public appearance was at the meeting of South-East Governors Forum on September 9, 2012 in Enugu and since then, he was yet to be seen by journalists in the Government House and public functions.
The Deputy Governor, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi, has been acting in the governor’s capacity, but his aides are reportedly not pleased with Chime’s directives, that Onyebuchi should not approve more than N500,000 for any project, no matter the circumstance.
Our correspondent exclusively gathered from insiders within government circles that the governor left the country about two weeks before the October 1 Independence anniversary.
“He was not in a very good condition before he left the country for London. We noticed it. Although they didn’t want to make it open, maybe because of journalists,” an insider at the Enugu State Government House, who pleaded not to be mentioned, reliably told Newsmen.

GLO EVICTS KUNLE AFOLAYAN AS AMBASSADOR

Popular star actor, Kunle Afolayan has terminated his appointment as the Ambassador for the telecom company; Globalcom due to their differences.

The Nollywood star joined the league of GLO ambassadors last year August with agreement worth of five million naira which lasted for two year.

Source disclosed that Kunle Afolayan want to renew his agreement and also demanded for increment in the fees of his agreement but his request was rejected by the telecom company and he treating to pull out of the agreement which the Chairman of the company; Otunba Mike Adenuga order the management to let Kunle go out of the contract.

It was also disclosed by a reliable source that the Kunle was force out the deal because he has been getting advances from other telecom company to join them as their ambassador; likewise former Glo ambassador; D’banj joined MTN after he left Globalcom.
