R.I.P THE AMAZINGLY TALENTED & BEAUTIFUL GOLDIE HARVEY

Spread the love

Susan Adebimpe Filani popularly known as Goldie Harvey is
one of the most talented pop stars in the Nigeria
music industry. She tragically passed away on Valentine’s Day, one of the most
celebrated days in the year, after attending the Grammy Awards in Los
Angeles, USA.
Her life’s journey unfortunately ended at Reddington’s Hospital, Victoria
Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Her autopsy report stated she died of High Blood Pressure.

Goldie was an energetic stage performer renowned for her use of flamboyant
costumes on and off camera. She was an international icon with a fan base
worldwide. She always had the longing to express herself creatively, having
been inspired by music, but was held captive by a deep shyness and the laws of
her strict upbringing.
Amongst everything, she had a deep sense of gratitude believing and
appreciating every single growth in her musical career as expressed in her last
musical video SKIBOBO Feat. AY brought to you by Kennis
Music.
Goldie, who hails from Ekiti
State, represented Nigeria
at the Big Brother Star Game in 2012. Her latest effort, she described
as three nawti singles from her forthcoming African Invasion album
are “Skibo”. “Miliki” and “Got To Have It,” are presently
enjoying heavy rotations on radio and TV stations across the
continent.
There are no words that can accurately describe the sadness that we all feel at
the passing of this talented, beautiful, original songstress -Goldie who
had so much more to live for. She will be sorely missed by everyone.
She is survived by her father, step- mother, brothers
and sisters.  We deeply sympathize with her family and fans all over the
world. May her soul rest in peace.
Adieu Goldie!!!!
