‎ ​The Federal Road Safety of Nigeria recently released the
list of Approved Celebrities to be inducted as Celebrity Special Marshals on March 8th 2013 in
Lagos.

They include: Halimah Abubakar,Oge Okoye, Fidelis Duker, Chico Ejiro, Steve
Ayorinde, Queen Ure, Azu Amatus, Seyi Law, Tony Okoroji, Gbemi Olateru-
Olagbegi, Emeka Rollas, Emeka Mcdowen, Doris Simeon,Patience Ozokwor, Deji
Balogun, Tokunbo Ojekunle, Sola Salako,Salomey Eferemo, Inyanya,
Victoria Pepple, Victor Ayara, Jide Alabi,
and Ayo Makinde.

Only 49 names were approved out of the 317 name that were submitted.

The event will take place immediately after a Lecture led by Mr Eniola Bello,
MD of Thisday Newspaper at A2W Centre,7 Olufunlola
Okikiolu St off Toyin Ikeja Lagos at 9am.


Meanwhile, bebeakinboade.com gathered that critics have complained that one of
the 49 is not fit to be awarded such an honour and this is no other than Seyi
Law. Reasons being that the budding comedian has once been booked by Lagos
State road authorities and had his
car impounded for defaulting traffic laws.
They went ahead to say that special marshals should be without any past
“traffic or criminal record.” 
Another set of critics also claim that a while ago, he had another
“mishap” with some police men although the reasons not stated.

  1. In Nigeria, most people have been booked for traffic laws guess people are just saying this because they know about Seyi Law's own.The guy must have changed before they decided to honour him
