It will be recalled that Nike suffers from endometriosis, a gynecological condition
in which cells from the lining of the uterus (endometrium) appear and flourish
outside the uterine cavity; symptoms of endometriosis are excruciating pain and
infertility; a condition she has been living with since she was 14.
