FINALLY!!! GOVERNOR FASHOLA REDUCES LASU FEES
The Lagos State
Government has finally announced a reduction in the tuition of its state university,
LASU. According to the state government, it would now reduce the fees between
34 per cent and 60 per cent across the different faculties and courses.

This is coming few
days after some students of the institution invaded the governor’s office to
register their anger over the “high school fees” with a demand that the fee be
reduced considerably.

Government has therefore approved the reductions
and, in accordance with the law setting up the university, forwarded its
approval to the institution’s Governing Council for implementation. The council
will issue details of what is now payable by students in each department.
