Diana Yekini, a
Nigerian-British native, who emerged as the winner of the 1st Annual GIAMA –
Screen Icon Search (SIS) Competition, automatically sealed movie deals with top
producers in the Nollywood industry. One of the movies she featured in as part
of the SIS Winner’s package was playing the role of ‘Chantelle’, a sassy
African American lady who was Alex Ekubo’s love interest in the Royal Arts
Academy flick ‘Lagos Cougars’.

Since moving to
Nigeria in 2013 Diana has worked on projects such as EbonyLife Tv drama ‘A New
You’, ‘Lagos Cougars’ and ‘All that Glitters’. She is currently playing a lead
role in the musical Saro at Terra Kulture set to hit the stage this October
amongst other on going projects.
