Papaya has rightly
been named as the “angel fruit” due to its versatile utilities and properties.
It is a wholesome and nutritive fruit which is a rich source of vitamin A and
vitamin C. It contains a special enzyme called “papain” that removes dead cells
and cures skin impurities. High in healing enzymes, papaya can be also used to
treat sunburns or irritated skin.

ON SKIN
SOFTEN THE FACE:
Ripe papaya contains BHA or beta hydroxyl acid which act as a mild exfoliator.
This gently removes the top dead cells of the face and gives a radiant and
younger looking skin. It also clears the dirt and oil that can lead to acne and
break outs on the face.
EVEN THE SKIN TONE:
Papaya is also used to even the skin tone by reducing the dark spots and
blemishes on the skin.
ANTI AGING
TREATMENT: Papaya contains high level of vitamins A and C. Vitamin C is an anti
oxidant that reduces the formation of free radicals which are responsible for
aging. The flavanoids in papaya help in increase the collagen production in the

PAPAYA FACE MASKS
PAPAYA HONEY LEMON
FACE MASK: Want to get rid of pimples or fade acne scars? This papaya honey
lemon face mask is the right one for you. Containing antibacterial properties,
papaya, honey and lemon will kill off acne causing bacteria and germs from the
skin. Papaya also has a deep cleansing action which will push out the entire
gunk from clogged up pores.
Ingredients
1/4 ripe papaya
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon lemon
juice
Directions
Blend or mash up
1/4 section of a ripe soft papaya into a lump free puree. Add 1 tablespoon
honey and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice into the bowl containing the papaya puree.
Mix well. Apply the face mask mixture onto your clean face. Wait for 15
minutes. When the time is up, gently use warm water to loosen the face mask.
Rinse off with cold water. Pat dry with a clean towel.
PAPAYA CUCUMBER
BANANA FACE MASK: For a soothing and refreshed feel and look of your skin, use
this papaya cucumber banana face mask. Papaya is good for reducing
pigmentation, cucumber will soothe sunburned and inflamed skin and banana will
hydrate and soften rough skin.
Ingredients
1/4 ripe papaya
1/4 cucumber
1/2 a banana
Directions
Peel and blend the
papaya, cucumber and banana in a blender until you get a smooth puree. Slather
the mixture onto your face, avoiding the area around the eye and mouth area.
Let it sink in for about 15 minutes. When the time is up, first use warm water
to loosen the face mask. Finally rinse off with cold water. Pat dry with a clean
towel.
PAPAYA AND EGG
WHITE FACE MASK: Papaya and egg white both help tighten and shrink large pores.
They both have oil control action which helps draw out excess sebum deep within
skin pores.
Ingredients
1/4 ripe papaya
1 egg white
Directions
Peel and blend 1/4
ripe papaya into a smooth puree. In a small mixing bowl, whisk an egg white
until it turns frothy. Mix well the papaya puree and egg white. Apply the
mixture onto your face. Sit for 15 minutes. To loosen the face mask, use warm
water and gentle scrub. Rinse with cold water to close pores.
