crush of at least half the world’s population, Johnny Depp.

In a short
statement, Dior this morning announced the partnership, which just so happens
to be Johnny’s first ever fragrance campaign. Not that we imagine he was short
of offers – a leading man and international style icon since the 1980’s there
have probably been brands positively queuing up to get a dose of the JD. The new move does, however, mark something of
a come-back, because since having children and marrying Amber Heard earlier
this year, Johnny has been more elusive than ever, rarely giving interviews and
appearing in very select films.

As for the
fragrance that Johnny will front, all information is yet-to-be-released, but we
do know that it has been created by expert perfumer and Dior’s ‘nose’ François
Demachy, who has worked on many of their best-selling fragrances to date.
