With last Sunday night’s Elimination Show, it has become imperative for the remaining contestants to bring their A-game to every of their performances, as the competition has obviously moved from just having the ability to sing well, but also showcasing essential skills.

The show kicked off with the grand entry of the hosts - Joseph Benjamin and Bolanle Olukanni, who looked all-dressed up as always. Quickly they made welcome the illustrious Judges, Faculty members, esteemed audience and also announced that the remaining fourteen contestants were ready to thrill everyone.

Going straight into the business of the day, Jeff opened the show with ‎‘There Goes My Baby’ by Usher. Followed by Biko’s rendition of ‘I Wanna Love You’ by Akon. In quick successions, Arewa did ‘Where Do Broken Hearts go’ by Whitney Houston while Pearl performed ‘I Bet’ by Ciara. Her twin sister Ruby followed suit with Celine Dion’s ‘All By Myself’. Kumi who just got back from probation had ‘Talking About Rvolution’ by Tracy Chapman while Ada performed ‘Drunk in Love’ by Beyonce.

With these first set of performances, the atmosphere was already charged up and full of excitement.
