Former Super Eagles, Shuaibu Amodu is dead!Amodu, a four-time handler of the national male football team, died on Friday night after complaining of chest pains. He reportedly died in his sleep after.
At the time of his death, Amodu was the Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Amodu Shuaibu’s death comes just three days after that of former Super Eagles Captain and Coach, Stephen Keshi, who died in the early hours of Wednesday, also in Benin, the Edo State capital.
Confirming the development on Saturday morning, the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF used their official Twitter handle to tweet: “NFF Technical Director, Amodu Shuaibu has died at the age of 58”.
His death is coming there days after the death of former Super Eagles Captain and Coach, Stephen Keshi, who also died in Benin, the Edo State capital.
