FUNKE AKINDELE RELEASES JENIFA’S DIARY SEASON AND 2 ON DVD
Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has released her popular TV comedy series, Jenifa’s Diary on DVD. Starring Funke Akindele, Bervely Osu, Alex Ekubo, Wunmi obe, Ali Nuhu, with cameo appearances from Waje, Banky W, BASH Comedian and more.
The drama series is prodyced by Scene One Production and marketed and distributed by Paulo International Concepts Ltd . Original copies of the TV series (Season 1&2 ) are at supermarkets and all DVD stores nationwide.
She urged her fans not to buy pirated versions of the film rather, they should embrace the original ones to have value for their money.
Jenifa’s Diary is a 2008 Nigerian comedy-drama that depicts the hilarious and amazing adventures of Suliat, A.K.A Jenifa. The film received four (4) nominations at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008, and won Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award at the 2016 edition.
The comedy series is about a secondary school drop-out turned hairdresser who lives in a backwater town called Aiyetoro. Jenifa is loud, over-bearing, very opinionated, and an interesting character to watch.
