ALIKO DANGOTE LOSES $4.9 BILLION IN 2016, NOW WORLD’S 112TH RICHEST MAN
The latest Bloomberg Billionaires’ Index released on Wednesday December 28,2016 has shown the President of Dangote Group and Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote losing $4.9 billion or one-third of his wealth.
This is as a result of the falling oil prices and the naira devaluation in June pushing him to the 112th richest person in the world with a net worth of $10.4 billion. Dangote was the world’s 46th-richest person in June.
