BUHARI TO WORK FROM HOME AS OSINBAJO HANDS OVER

The Presidency on Monday disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari will work from his official residence till renovation work is completed in his office. The Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, made this known saying Buhari’s office is undergoing renovation.

“Renovations works are ongoing at the President’s office. He has fully equipped office in his residence,” he stated on his twitter handle.
“He’ll be back to the main office after the works.”
This was revealed as the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, finally handed over to the President who formerly resumed work on Monday after communicating the Senate about his desire to resume.
Osinbajo thanked the President for the trust and confidence he had reposed in him while he was away.
Meanwhile, the Senate has confirmed receipt of the President’s letter through a tweet by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
“I have received a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari informing the Senate that he has returned to the country. I have also acknowledged the letter,” the tweet read.
Similarly, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has also acknowledged the receipt of President’s letter, notifying the House of Representatives about his resumption of duty.
A statement issued by Dogara’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Turaki, said the letter was delivered to the office of the Speaker by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Reps), Suleiman Abdurahman Kawu Sumaila.
