GOV. ALAO AKALA IS 60
Although he does not look it, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Alao Akala will be 60 in two weeks time. And he will be celebrating it big. He will be celebrating 60 years on 3rd June 2010 and he has sent out Invitation Cards and a one page notification letter.
As part of my appreciation to God for sparing my life for the past 6 decades, there will be a thanksgiving service at the Molete Baptist Church, Ibadan on 3rd June 2010 at 10am prompt.
For your information, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, has accepted to grace the occasion with his esteemed precence.
The thanksgiving service will however be preceded on 2nd June with a lecture to be delivered by Prof. Wande Abimbola, the former Vice Chancellor, Obafemi Awolowo University.
My biography entitled Adebayo Alao Akala: The Path to Destiny will also be launched immediately after the lecture. Venue of the 2 events is the Cultural Centre, Mokola, Ibadan, commencing from 10am prompt.
