PASTOR ADEBOYE GIVES NEW RULES OF DRESSING FOR REDEEM PASTOR’S

A few weeks ago, Pastor Adeboye restated the rules of descent dressing in all of the parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Some interesting rules and regulation concerning dressing in the church include:
Women are not allowed to wear gold jewelry. It was said that even though the wearing of gold would not keep anyone from going to heaven, women have a tendency to idolize gold jewelry. Gold jewelry has since been banned in the Redeemed Church. Women must always have their hair covered in church.
Women are not allowed to wear trousers. Men and Women are not allowed to wear sleeveless outfits. Men and Women are not allowed to color their hair. Women are not allowed to wear artificial hair.
These rules and regulations show how conservative the Redeemed Church has chosen to remain even though many think it is permitted in Pentecostal Churches.
It was revealed that Pastor Adeboye was asked why he ordained female Pastor even though Apostle Paul in the scriptures in the Bible spoke against women being in authority in the Church. Pastor Adeboye was said to have replied that if a woman was more spiritual and knowledgeable about the Word of God, it makes sense that she should lead.
