HOW ANNIE MACAULAY WON TUFACE’S LOVE

Few weeks back, news filtered like wild fire that multiple award-winning singer, Innocent Ujah Idibia popularly known as Tuface was said to be expecting his sixth child, having impregnated his ex-girlfriend, Pero Adeniyi, the third time.
And on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2012), there was another shocker as he proposed to his long-term girlfriend and mother of one of his children (daughter – Isabella), Annie Macaulay at Jay Jay Okocha’s Club 10 in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Annie and Tuface have been dating on and off for a decade and she appeared in his breakthrough solo video “African Queen”.
Tuface took Annie to a quiet section of the club, he knelt down and told her “He knows that they have had their ups and downs but it will be his heart’s desire for her to marry him” and then presented the dazzling ring and Annie began screaming “YES, YES, YES”. She also broke down and wept profusely, she had been kept in the dark about the plan for the night.

Celebrities who witnessed the proposal include Kaffy, Efe Tommy, Jay Jay Okocha, Nkechi Okocha, Peter Okoye of P-Square, Matthew Ohio, Yvonne Nwosu of Vonne and many more.
Since his relationship with Pero, Annie and Sumbo started, many fans of Tuface had been wondering who he will eventually decide to get married to. That riddle has finally been resolved. But his proposal to Annie has also generated mixed feelings.
While some are of the opinion that Annie truly deserves the proposal, having dated Tuface even before he became a mega star, others are of the opinion that the African Queen crooner has not made up his mind for real.
But quite a number of people are not surprised that Annie was Tuface’s choice. There have been speculations that Annie is his favourite of the many women in his life.
Why, because Annie has been there for him from day one through thick and thin. Back then, she used to follow him to Benue every Christmas! She also kept her cool during his “stardom-consumed” mode and all the baby mamas’ drama.

No doubt, Tuface has found someone to set his soul free, compliment him and show him true love.
