GET STYLISH THIS SEASON AS THE PANTYHOSE MAKES A COMEBACK!
skin socks; tights – whichever of these names you are familiar with, it
doesn’t matter, what matters is that these sexy and sleek leg wears have made a
return and are getting great reviews from fashionistas worldwide.
Pantyhose were highly popular in the 70s and 80s then not much was heard about
them after that, but now they are much appreciated by the classy.
The modern versions range from Opague, black, fishnet, tights, hold ups
and socks. You can also choose to stand out with high-end fashion
embellished tights. For a touch of glamour try vintage back seams, and
luxurious lace tights, patterned tights, footless tights,
and seamed tights.
Pantyhose adds a little warmth; they even out splotchy skin; provide a hint of
support and keep you from sliding around in heels; and most important, they
make you look just a little more polished. It gives a finished look, giving
a sense of finesse. You suddenly have flawless legs so there is no need to
bother about self-tanning lotions to conceal blemishes.
Apart from short dresses and skirts, it is also fashionable to wear black
pantyhose under shorts.
In a season when the fashion spotlight is on the leg, hosiery is finding a new
generation of fans who don’t view stockings as a pressure but as a bonafide
style choice.
Perhaps it’s the celebrities that have added to the increase in its
acceptance. Kate the Duchess of Cambridge has rarely been seen in a
skirt without stockings.
Beyoncé Knowles also frequently wears stockings, sometimes wearing two
pairs of hose at a time – a nude stocking beneath fishnets.
