MNET 53 EXTRA’S DOLAPO ONI JOIN EBONY LIFE TV
The petite host of the glamorous entertainment show
on Africa Magic, 53 extra, Dolapo Oni has made an industry move to the
acclaimed Africa’s First Global Black Entertainment Network. She will be
working as Co-Host with the network’s founder, Mo Abudu on the Talk Show
‘Moments with Mo’ on Ebony Life TV.
Ebony Life TV is a newly launched television network
that describes itself as the “First Global Black Entertainment Network.”
Amidst this move, series of questions arise which
include:
Why will she want to leave the seemingly more
prestigious and more glamorous 53 Extra platform? Does the ebony life TV
platform offer more prospects for growth and exposure than MNET? Who is going
to hold the sway that she used to at the 53 extra studio as viewers had at a
time been dissatisfied with her former co-host turned reporter Eku Edewor?
show last year, many thought or she made it appear the purpose was to mentor a
