The Makeup Show Orlando took place last month at The Peabody Hotel Orlando
(now the Hyatt Regency Orlando). The show featured over 50 brands, live demo’s,
seminars, keynotes with celebrity makeup and FX artists, and hands on
workshops. The Makeup Show Orlando also featured for the first time “Face to
Face”.

Face to Face was a live competition bringing makeup artist at all
levels of their career and all areas of the industry together to prove
themselves and show their skills in a competition that put their artistry in
the spotlight and pushed these artists to show the beauty world their
best.  Individual makeup artists from all over the world came together to
compete against their colleagues and prove that their skills in beauty, body,
fashion & FX makeup set them apart from the rest.  Face to Face coaches and mentors were the
Makeup Show’s very own team of artist: Orlando Santiago, Esterique Aidan, Kathy
Aragon and Danessa Myricks; hosted by James Vincent. Each mentor picked
their team based solely on what they saw before them during The Makeup Show
Orlando social.
