TINUBU BAGS AFRICA’S YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS’ ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The National Leader
of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has bagged the
Achievement Award of a group, the Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs (AYE). Tinubu,
who was also appointed as AYE patron, was conferred with the award at his
Bourdillon-Ikoyi, Lagos residence recently by a six-man delegation of AYE from
South Africa.
A statement issued
by Tinubu’s media office in Lagos said the former Lagos State governor and
business mogul, was described as an exemplary leader by the AYE President, Mr.
Summy Smart Francis, a Nigerian based in South Africa.
According to the
statement, while presenting the Honorary Achievement Award to Tinubu, Francis
said, “This award is given to entrepreneurs and business people that have made
a huge impact on the continent and are known around the globe through their
business achievements. “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Africa sees you and recognises
you. You are an African Icon.”

The statement said
in his response at the occasion , Tinubu called on the youth of Africa to save
their continent from economic and political stagnation by applying what he
called “Commonsense Revolution” to all that they do.
He also advised
them to conquer fear by rigorously challenging bad government policies where
necessary, saying this is the needed ingredients to grow entrepreneurship on
the continent.
Asiwaju Tinubu also
admonished the six-man AYE team not to let fear prevent them from striving for
excellence in all they do , urging young investors to believe in themselves and
be fearlessly inquisitive.
