REAL REASON WHY AISHA BUHARI IS PLANNING TO SET UP A PRIVATE UNIVERSITY
Hajia Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari , has expressed her plan to establish a private university to be known as “Muhammadu Buhari University”.
She disclosed this on Saturday during a townhall meeting in Yola organized by her in collaboration with concern indigenes of Adamawa and was also attended by politicians, particularly APC, PDP and ADC members in the state.
Although Hajia Aisha Buhari did not reveal when or where the university would be sited, but she further explained that the university would be established in collaboration with partners from Sudan and Qatar.
According to her, one of the reasons why she is embarking on this project is as a result of the challenges facing education and various sectors in the state, and she called for active support of the state indigenes in complementing government efforts.
Therefore she is advocating for the establishment of Adamawa Development Trust Fund through which prioritized developmental projects can be financed and implemented.
Aisha Buhari is definitely the first woman in presidency role to come up with this brilliant idea and collaboration. So let’s keep our finger crossed as more details unfold.
