Ribena, the Nutritional Health drink rich in Vitamin C from the stable of Glaxo Smith Kline Consumer Nigeria Plc, is now available in new attractive Ready-to-drink PET bottle to further connect and expand its target market and make the product convenient for consumption anytime. The Great Tasting Blackcurrant Health drink,Relaunched in year 2010 new and exciting packs for its variants and added 150ml pack that costs only N50 to the kitty of the brand.

Speaking at the Media briefing in Lagos, GSK Marketing Director, Mrs. Hannah Oyebanjo stated that, as a company that delights its consumers through innovation, GSK has come up with Ribena in PET bottle to accommodate teenagers and young adult consumers who cherish Ribena. The brand provides 100% of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C that support healthy growth.

Mrs. Oyebanjo further explained that, Ribena now also a trendy 500ml PET bottlegives our consumers the option to choose among various sizes and variants, which offers the same satisfaction. Ribena variants are in an impressive outlook that is available and affordable to the consumers. “The brand has acquired good acceptability amongst consumers since it was introduced into the Nigerian market by Beecham PLC in 1983. It has since evolved into different variants and pack sizes,” she revealed.The Ribena Brand is aimed at giving consumers varieties that meet their various tastes, value and changing life style.
“Ribena has continued to transform from its parent variants and sizes since it was introduced in 1983. The Brand has evolved from concentrate format in bottles to the ready-to-drink pack formats available in 150ml, 288ml, and 1litre packs.
