OMONI OBOLI CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY WITH STREET CHILDREN
Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli added a year penultimate week
and instead of throwing a birthday bash for her friends, the actress decided to
reach out to street children by throwing a party for them.
She accomplished this herculean task through her foundation called Omoni Oboli
Foundation. The actress believed that celebrating her birthday with the less
privileged children in the street will bring her happiness and fulfillment she
desires in life.
The children were organized by Child Lifeline, an NGO that cares for the plight
of the street children.
Also on hand to lend support to the project was the Live Well Initiative(LWI).
They came with a team of medical professionals to examine, de-worm the
children, and gave them vitamins and other non-prescription drugs.
There was by a DJ and lots of foods, snacks, drinks, cakes to eat. The
children left with gift packs. It was an all day event, ending at 6pm.
