RIHANNA WORKING ON A NEW ALBUM

Rihanna has confirmed that she is working on a new album.
In an interview with Capital FM, the We Found
Love singer revealed that she has already begun collecting thoughts and
sounds for her seventh studio recording, and already has a rough idea for the
album’s direction.
“I’m definitely thinking about the next record,”
she said. “I’m a multi-tasker. Right now we’re working on collecting and
creating the sound first before we even start working on the lyrical direction
or melodies.”
And she doesn’t seem to be waiting around, either. Rihanna’s
last album, Talk That Talk, was only released last November.
The singer has claimed that she will not be toning down her
controversial music videos and racy image, as it may be detrimental to her art,
despite recent criticisms that she is a “bad role model” for young
women.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Rihanna would be
the headliner for BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend – a massive outdoor festival on
23-24 June 2012 in London.
She also revealed recently that she will be working on a
fashion collaboration in the near future, saying, “I can’t really talk
about it, but my fans will be very happy, especially my British fans.”
