Beyonce and Alicia Keys were about to raise the bar
of the Ankara fabric once their video ‘Put it in a Love Song’ was released.
Photos of the duo on their shoot reveals Beyonce and Alicia clad in some really
sexy Ankara designs by Boxing Kitten, a New York based fashion label.

The music video for ‘Put It in a Love Song’ was
filmed at several locations in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on February 9, 2010.
In April 2010, Keys told the press that the music
video would not be out until after the video for the fourth single,
“Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready)”, is released.

In March 2011, a preview for the video surfaced
online, ending with the lines “coming soon,” but not mentioning an
actual date.

Fans waited earnestly, anticipating the release of
this epic video until they finally gave up when Alicia came up with a vague
explanation: “Sometimes with creative things, it all comes together and
it’s perfect, and sometimes things almost come together and it’s better to just
leave it.

We had a ball shooting the video. It just so happens
that the whole thing, for some reason or another, didn’t quite come together,
so we just decided to leave it.”

Although majority claim it wasn’t released because
Beyonce overpowered the song and outshined her in the video. (Its Alicia’s song
featuring Beyonce).

We’ll have to stick with Ms. Keys explanation, until
a more credible reason is given.
