The 6th edition of the Elite model look Nigeria
took place last weekend at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island
Lagos. Hundreds of girls turned up
with only one goal in mind: to be the winner. The requirements the judges were
looking for were females between the ages of 14 to 22 years and a minimum
height of 7 feet 5 inches.The screening was done by founder of Beth modeling agency
Elohor Aisen, Fashion stylist and publicist Ono Bello, Super model Isio
Wanogho and Nnamdi.

The first stage of the screening was done with the girls in
their natural form: no makeup, weaves nor false lashes. At the end of the casting, 50 contestants were pre-selected
and had their make up done by professionals, after which they were narrowed
down to 12 finalists who will go on to participate and compete at the finale in
September. The EMLN 2013 winner will represent Nigeria
alongside 80 other countries and will stand a chance of winning $150,000USD at
Elite Look International finals in China
