WHAT HAPPENED TO FACE OF SLEEK NIGERIA COMPETITION?

Spread the love
The search for the Face of Sleek
Nigeria was first launched in 2009 by Sleek cosmetics. It was an event that
came with a lot excitement and was well received by fashion loving Nigerians.
The competition was won by Makida Moka, who has succeeded in building a
career in modeling.
Then came the year 2010 and there
was no face of sleek 2010 competition. But fortunately for lovers of the
competition, by November 2011, another sophisticated and classy event took place
tagged ‘The Symphony of Style 2’. The  Face Of Sleek Nigeria 2011 winner’ was billed to win bags of prices
including: ambassador of Sleek Studio, with a cash prize of N 4 Million, a
brand new car, an all-expenses paid trip to the UK, take part in London Fashion
Week and a year’s supply of fabulous Sleek Studio makeup, hair and new skincare
products. The 2011 competition was won by Alexandra Nwokedi.
After the 2011 event, it looked
like the face of sleek organizers had gotten their grove back, as the show was
well packaged and had the appeal of an international catwalk show.

But another break in transmission
occurred in 2012 when to the dismay of many, there was no competition. The
question many need to know is ‘Is the face of sleek competition a biennial event?’
If yes, does that mean we should expect another show in 2013?
We at bebeakinboade.com contacted the organizers of the
competition via e-mail but have not replied up till now. Phone call was also
placed to their number but the call rang out.

All things being equal, we can not but anticipate Face of
Sleek 2013…
